Lihue Aiki Kai, established in 1994, is a 501(c) (7) non-profit organization which promotes the philosophy and practice of traditional Aikido. The Lihue Aiki Kai is affiliated with Aikido of Honolulu and the Aikido World Headquarters, Tokyo, Japan. Contributions are tax deductible.
Shimokawa Sensei, a sixth degree blackbelt, began training in Aikido in 1965. He has been teaching since 1981.
Tripp Sensei, 6th degree black belt, has more than 30 years experience in Aikido and Karate.
